Our second game of the day was a much more open fixture, Twyford’s keeper; Aaron Long called into action with a leaping save to his right early in the first half set the scene for a much more attacking display of football from both teams.
Billy Curtis, Louis Bolduc and Toby Heard fought hard to contain Central City but were simply outplayed by a stronger opponent who had already won their opening game.
An excellent performance from Jack Walton in the second half saw him find the net for his first goal of the season from a Central throw which fell to our striker’s feet.
A good team performance, against well organised opposition which ended 7-1.
