Match Report - Twyford Milan - B U12's 2009/10

Twyfords inconsistency showed again as Bridgwater Wolves brought a rather large looking side to Amory for this midweek encounter.

Twyford started quite nervously but did threaten on a couple of occasions with ConnorMogford and Shelby Butler.Alex Morrey Jones ran the flanks with his usual energy but Twyford failed to do some of the basics and ended up losing a couple of quick goals.They were right back in it when a speculative effort from David Rawlings ,about 35 yards from goal sailed over the keepers head and brought it back to 2-1 much to the delight of his teammates.

However,Wolves took control in the second half ,shooting at will at Harry Toogood who saved on countless occasions but inevitably spilled few.Dan Tidborough came on as a makeshift centreback and was the best player of the second half.Twyford did get a consolation goal which was somewhat of a mystery as to who actually had the final kick from a free kick on the edge of the box but Simon Holwell was credited with the goal which bounced down off the bar and just over the line.This may have to be referred to the dubious goals panel!!!
