The under 16's A team entertained Minehead who were still in the running for the league. In a even first half Minehead took the lead close to half time with a penalty.The second half started even again until Twyford equalised from the penalty spot. the penalty coolly slotted away by Josh Wren. Goalie Liam Hill scored by kicking the ball the length of the pitch from his hand, one bounce, top corner. He followed this up by hitting the post from a similar kick. Aiden Moyle then made a good run into the box, spotted by Josh Wren but when Aiden received the ball he was up ended for a stonewall penalty again scored by Josh Wren to make the final score 3-1. A result deserved on the second half performance. Liam Hill was excellent in goal while Jan Pollington and Kit Adams were superb in defence. Belah Miah, Ed Frankland and Liam Taylor also played well.
