Twyford took part in the Exeter Youth League Plate competition on Sunday and won group B to book a place in the U11 Plate final which is due to take place at St James Park in May. The first group game against West Hill Wasps finished 0-0, however in the next game against Pinhoe Twyford won 1-0 with a goal from Reagan Holwell. Next up were Heavitree and a terrific strike from Sam Jones gave Twyford their second win and clincehd their place in the final. The last group game against Stoke Hill ended 1-1 with a further goal from Reagan Holwell to finish off a busy but satisfying week for Twyford.
