Match Report - Twyford Spartans - G U14's 2010/11

Twyford Under 14 girls showed a massive improvement on last week's performance with some excellent football.  During the first half the girls played well and it was just before half time the deadlock was broken by Crediton with a well worked goal.  Early in the second half Crediton scored a second goal.  The girls had many chances but just couldn't put them away.

Laura Kent, Mollie Fawell, Alice Kent and Lois Macknerness played well in the the midfield helping the defence when required.  As usual Alice Butler and Laura Huxtable were solid at the back with good work from Samiyah Edmunds and Chloe Moore.  Millie McLear and Robyn Freed never stopped running and were both very unlucky not to score. 

Amy Sanders, in goal, developed her game during the second half becoming more confident with her role and put in an excellent performance.

If the girls continue to play as they did today the win will come.  Well done everyone!
