Match Report - Twyford Spartans - G U12's 2010/11

Type: DGFL = Devon Girls Football League

This was by far the girls best game of the season so far in difficult conditions we took the game to westexe battling hard in midfield and taking a well deserved lead through Emily , after this westexe as you would expect came out strong putting our team under pressure but as we have seen before this season we thrive on this but we conceded about midway through the half this then became a midfied battle with Phoebe,Jordan and Emily fighting for all  the lose ball but as the half came to an end we conceded a second to see us 2-1 dowm at the break .

                           More of the same in the second half with us picking up an early goal to make it 2-2 the whole team then defended very well Nicole and Kim at the back doing very well Chloe upfront was a revelation scoring twice and holding the ball up for midfield to take it on ,this was a game i did not attend but thanks to baz for giving me the notes what i will say is that i have had all the parents say to me how proud of the girls i would have been my answer to that is they continue to work hard at training and on match days  they will get what they deserve well done all.
