Match Report - Twyford Spartans - G U11's 2010/11

Our second game today was against Exmouth we conceded an early goal which considering that the last time we played yhem we lost 8-1 could have been a disaster but from that moment on this was a great game both teams having plenty of the ball Chloe and Emily keeping things tight at the back and Lucy in goal did very well. The midfield of Lauren,Libby and Eve pushed forward looking for goals forcing corners and from one of these broke to Libby who flicked the ball past the keeper to make the score 1-1and thats how it stayed to the break.

                                                         The second half saw us pushing forward Jordan and Emily working well creating chances one saw Emily hit a fierce shot which was well saved we kept the pressure on ,Libby and Jordan had good chances but sadly could not score and near the end of the game Exmouth came back strong ,a volley from a corner hit the bar and Eve made a very good save but the score stayed at 1-1 . a great game and a vast improvement by our players well done to you all
