Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U9's 2010/11

Type: EDYL = Exeter & District Youth League

In our second game of the day we played a confident looking Beacon Knights team the game was very even from the k o with both teams having possesion in the midfield but neither team threatened the goal mid way through the half we had a mix up at the back which gifted them a great chance but again Issaac was more than equal and made a great save,the half stayed very even untill a flash of brilliance from Henry saw him, score a great individual goal we kept the the pressure on and created more chances as the half went on but aty the half the score stood at 1-0.

                                                     The second half saw a very good battle with both sides playing well the team rose  to the challenge and from back to front they worked very hard . Henry again hassled the beacon defense forcing a mistake which he put away well for 2-0 and soon after he made it 3 for a well deserved hatrick,Daniel made his debut with some strong tackles ,the last quarter of the game was a real end to end battle with beacon creating chances and battling hard untill the end but we came out 3-0 winners . Well done today the whole team worked hard more of the same next time well done.
