Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U9's 2010/11

Type: EDYL = Exeter & District Youth League

Our second game was against Ottery again the game started evenly then Ottery broke on our defence to score an early goal and as the half went on Ottery stayed on top with our team stuggling to defend as a group but we did win a series of corners from which we scored a scrappy goal near the end of the half we found ourselves badly out of position leaving Lennon against 4 attackers he did his best but a shot came in forcing a great save from Isaac.  After the half the team came  out and gave a great performance all the team passing the ball well, Rees scoring with a great header after good work out wide from Henry and another through ball gave Rees his second goal after a cool finish through the goalies legs after Henry getting his second scoring direct from a corner we created chances for Will and Rees, but also at the other end Alex did some great work and isaac was back to his best in goal, just before the end Lennon Stamp ran onto a through ball and finished well to get his first goal for the club well done Lennon.

This was the best I have seen our team play the whole team pulling together and putting the things they do at training every week into the match well done lads keep up the good work.
