Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U9's 2010/11

Type: EDYL = Exeter & District Youth League

Todays first game was against a warriors team that had only lost once this season so with that and the fact the team was hit by a sickness bug left us fearing the worst but after conceding early we then jumped into action starting from the back Isaac in goal made save after save then Alex and James in defence not only tackled as individuals but worked very well as a team the midfield of Adam,Angus and Matt w had to run from end to end trying to support henry upfront aswell as the defence but as the half went on we started to get more of the ball and a great ball from Angus put Henry through to finish well under the keeper for his 20th of the season.

                                       The second half was much closer as a game with both sides having a lot of the ball sidmouth scored part way though the half but the spartans boys kept going and created a couple of half chances but they were up against a well organised team and sadly went down 3-1 , but as always the boys gave there all putting a very good performance against a very good team. After that performance the boys and more importantly myself should actually believe what a very good squad of players we have well done all.
