Todays first game was against Broadclyst we started well with Henry and Ben having early strikes on goal Matt h was having a good game running at players and making chances for others one such run led to the ball breaking to the halfway line and Harry having a strike which went just wide we kept pushing forward and another cross led to Ben striking well and getting his first of the season atfer only 2 games we then sat back alowing the other team time and space from which they scored but we then pushed on and forced a corner whichj was put in well by Henry and Matt h was there to knock the ball in for his first of the season we then conceded again to leave it 2-2 at the break.
In the second half we played very well moving the ball around and forcing good pressure on the other team and after Henry had scored well after a nice run, we had a free kick which Harry put away. We dominated for long periods witrh Matt h getting his second of the day but as the game drew to a finish Broadclyst came back at us but with our defence of Ben,Rees and James standing firm and also Alex in goal making some important saves at the final whistle we won 5-2 all in all very good performance.
