Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U9's 2010/11

Todays second game was our local derby against Moors these games are usually close and this one was no exception,the game started fairly even with both sides having some of the ball,Moors began to get into there game with runs from the midfield but with Alex and Harry on top form they could not find there way through as the half went on the game was real end to end stuff with both defences and midfields playing really well but with quick feet and a bit of individual skill Henry broke through and scored but perhaps the best bit of the half came when good build up play and movement put the Moors striker in and Issac pulled off a brilliant double save and another from a long range shot high to his right to leave the score 1-0 at the half.

                                                The second half saw more of the same with both teams coming out to attack Moors leveling the score soon after the break the whole of our team then showed more of that spirit to go ahead again with the ball moving all over a pitch that was begining to cut up both teams still wanted to play good football with moors drawing level again this was looking like another draw between these very even sides but with seconds left Harry broke from the back and unleashed an amazing strike which flew into the top corner a goal worthy of winning any game .Both teams in this one deserved a lot of credit it was a great game played the way the game should be played and this time we got what i feel was a very well deserved win some great indvidual skill around the pitch Isaac again was brilliant in goal a great team effort the guys who were subbed today showing geat fighting spirit when they came on especially rees in this one. Finally well done to James who is fitting very well and played some great stuff today well done .
