Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U9's 2010/11

Type: EDYL = Exeter & District Youth League

Todays first game was against a good Central side we started well passing the ball around but as the the time went on you could see why central are high in the table they seemed to have one more player on the pitch than us but our defence stood strong and isaac made a great save yet again and at the half the score was 0-0.

                                   As the second half began we could see this was going to be a long 15mins there midfield began to control things particularly the no7 who terrorised us with his runs one of these led to a free kick which he slotted high in the top corner we continued to attack forcing there keeper into some saves but again a run down our left drew our defenders in and the ball found there striker unmarked to leave the score 2-0 afetr an end to end last 5 we conceded again to leave the final score 3-0 , again i feel this was a lot closer than the score may sugest we gave them a good game , we have had a run against he top teams and ran mopst quite closa e and on another day might have nicked somthing next week maybe our day keep going boys excellent play again.
