Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U9's 2010/11

This was a great game on a very cold morning,both teams started brightly with James who was playing his first game getting an early chance, the half went on and both sides created chances and defending well, Alex and Harry at the back together today kept the culm strikers away from goal and when they did get through Issac was back to his brilliant best in goal making a string of great saves Angus and Henry and James putting some great work in the midfield and Reece having a couple of strikes ment at the half we were at a very well deserved 0-0 draw.

                                                          As the second half kicked of both teams had made some changes and the balance of play swung slightly towards culm but our boys kept going and again created some chances but as the half went on the understanding that the culm players had with each other after playing for together for so long started to show and some strong runs down our right gave them a couple of goals but as is always the case our team did not give up and battled to the end and deseved a goal but sadly went down 4-0 in the end , but again we did not deserve the scorline as there manager said to me after the game the score flattered his team and could have been a lot closer and our team were much improved WELL DONE TO ALL KEEP GOING AND THE RESULTS WILL COME.
