Twyford went 2-0 down in their opening game of the season but fought well and reduced the deficit through Ryan Martin early in the 2nd half. Twyford continued to put the pressure on which was rewarded with a wonderful debut volley for Nicky Ford. Jack Thomas made some good saves in goal. Connor Stone, Josh Veen, Kit Adams, Jason Allington and Jack Isaacs were solid at the back, with Lewis Manning, Reece Burnett and Alex Bressington working hard in midfield. George Cox put in a good debut performance.
