Match Report - Twyford Spartans - G U12's 2010/11

Type: DGFLC = DGFL Cup

This week we played a cup game against Liverton, a team we had played on the first day of the season. The game started evenly , the ball being passed well by both sides. we created several chances, forcing the away keeper into a series of good saves, also we had a few good corners but just could not get the ball in the net and at the other end Liverton took their chances wel , hitting us on the break, leaving us 4-0 down at the break.

In the second half we changed things around and the game continued in the same way, with the Twyford team battling for every ball and creating more chances, shooting wide and forcing saves. As was the story in the first half, Liverton took the chances they created and sadly we didn't.  On another day this game could have been 7 all and the whole team should not be discouraged, they created lots of chances and I am sure that they will put them away in the future.   WELL DONE GIRLS.
