Match Report - Twyford Spartans - G U12's 2011/12

This was our first game at our new bickleigh venue and on a lovely morning we kicked of our game againsts roselands . the game started with roselands on the front foot creating early chances and pushing us hard but as the half went on we got into our stride passing the well and getting some shots on goal one of these came back off the keeper and put in by Hannah for 1 nil for the rest of this half we played some great football moving the ball well and running with the ball when needed Lydia scored a terrific individual goal and Ruby and Emily added to the tally giving us a 4 nill half time lead ,

                                                The second half started with us on the back foot again roseland came out all guns blazing working the ball around and scored a good goal this then made the game more open they really tested us all over the pitch and made us work very hard Lauren and Chloe defended very well and Ellie in goal did what was needed making some good saves and distributing the ball very well . As the half went on both teams began to tire but still we created Ruby shooting over and forcing a good save and Emily hit the bar the game finished with a 4-1 win ,another great result for us today against a very good side every player deserves a massive pat on the back well done to all .
