Match Report - Twyford Spartans - G U13's 2011/12

the first game of the season saw us against westexe a very strong experienced side, the game started with us strugling to keep the ball for any length of time panicing when we did get it and giving it away and after conceding an early goal we let our heads drop a bit and the players who were playing up from the under 12s seemed to struggle a bit and at the break we were 5-0 down.

                        At the break we moved things around putting 3 at the back and we started to play much better the whole team were much more calm and passed the ball better and the westexe side realised they were in a game the under 12 players found there feet and played with much more confidence and the back 3 of hannah, nicole and kim were terrific at the back with Ellie in goal growing in confidence as the game went on and at the end we had only conceded 2 more goals to go down 7-0, this was a real game of 2 halfs and the second should fill the whole team with confidence we defended well and created a few goal chances all in all a much improved performance and with a bit more time and some hard work at training the results will come well done girls
