Match Report - Twyford Spartans - G U13's 2011/12

In only our second game of the season we hosted plainmoor just a special mention that we did have a 2 mins silence which was observed very well by both teams and there supporters, when the game got going we realised that this was going to be a hard morning plainmoor moved the ball around well but we stuck to the task well and started to get some of the ball breaking whenever we could this was the story of the half ellie was called into action but as usual was more than holding her own , as the half went on we looked like 0-0 at the half but ellie put out a great goal kick which was met on the volley buy the plaimoor midfielder  and the ball looped in for 1-0 the game kept ebbing and flowing but just before  the  half the ball broke in our goal mouth and we conceded a second 2-0 at the half .

                                  We shuffled things around at the break and looked very solid getting plenty of the ball and when we did lose the ball working very hard to regain it at the back kim and phoebe looked solid with ammelia and nicole supporting well our midfield of jordan, lauren jess and emily were very good today against very skillfull opponants  and georgia worked very hard upfront during the second half we started to show our potential and only conceded a very well worked goal near the end we did have our chances to score with emily lauren and mia all breaking and making great runs with shots sadly off target at the end we went down 3-0. This was a great performance much improved all the players shone today against a good plainmoor team very proud of all a great effort concidering half of this team are under 12s excellent work girls keep going.
