Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U10's 2011/12

Type: EDYL = Exeter & District Youth League

Our first game of the season was against Ottery St Mary the game started well both teams having plenty of the ball ,OSM kept winnig the ball in the mid and one such time the ball broke and a hard shot came in which was well saved by alex who parried the ball which unfortunately fell to the osm striker who put the ball in the net.after this we managed to get far more organised and started to pas the ball around well and created chances for the front 2 but the ball would not go in .

                                      The second half saw much more of the same creating chances but not able to convert the chances untill isaac picke the ball up in midfield and shot and the ball found its way to the net to make it 1-1 ,the half went on and after a break from osm a shot went in which beat alex to put us 2-1 down, after this it was all twyford creating several more chances  but we were not able to convert them but it certainly was not  due to lack of effort ,despite the result we were pleased with the amount of chances we made and i think isaac has made a point to me by scoring, well done as i said after the game a good  performance from you all against a very good team
