Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U10's 2011/12

Type: EDYL = Exeter & District Youth League

Todays second game against broadclyst was a real game of two halves, in the first we started strongly scoring an early goal and from then on we controled the half creating several chances but again we were up against a great keeper ,Aiden and Angus were controling the midfield playing balls through to Henry who battled hard and got a well deserved goal with a terrific flick of the ball over his head and a volley into the corner at the half we were 2-0 up.

                 The second half was a bit different as our players tired leaving gaps to appear and Broadclyst began to attack creating chances and scoring a very good goial this was the story for the next few minutes with them scoring another good goal to leave the score 2-2, We then began to play again passing the ball well with Lennon having a great game ,we scored a third goal after a great passing move and this turned out to be the winning goal. This wasa good game and we can learn a lot from it the whole squad showed great spirit after conceding 2 goals well done all
