Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U10's 2011/12

Type: EDYL = Exeter & District Youth League

This was our first game back after the xmas break and on a cold morning some of us wished it was  still the holidays,the game started evenly with both teams seeing plenty of the ball Bradnich had some early tries on goal which were met by Harry and Matt at the back and for the first time in a while and welcome back to Issac in goal as the half went on we started to play well with Iyestyn and Lennon running at pace and creating chances and one of these attacks gave Henry a chance which he took well to give us a 1-0 lead at the break.

                                                 The second half saw us us start well moving the ball around well on a difficult surface the ball broke to James in the box and after some very  fancy footwork he shoot for goal but was well saved by the keeper Aiden and Henry were beginning to boss the match and with Iestyn created a top class goal the 3 of them interlinking several times,we then did our usual trick and let a team back in when we were in control the Bradnich star man cleared several of our players and finised well, our character then shone through when a swift attack saw Aiden put in a great cross for iestyn to HEAD in at the far post .this was a very good performance in difficult conditions with all doing well special mention to Jamie who turned his ankle but is ok.

                                      This was a good performance doing well in all areas well done all.
