Match Report - Twyford Bayern - B U11's 2011/12

Type: ED CUP = Exeter & District Youth League Cup

Despite there being 2 divisions between the sides Twyford put in a spirited display despite the scoreline. They kept battling and putting in 110% effort as always. Jack Walton made some excellent saves, Matt Reed worked continously hard down the right hand side and Toby Heard the left as well as making at least 3 goal line clearances! Aaron Long stood out at the back with vital blocks and tackles throughout the game. Zach Veen, Jim Harper and Billy Curtis ran the whole game in midfield, making life difficult for the Sidmouth midfielders. Eden Reynell was always a threat on the counter attack and had chances to score but was denied by the Sidmouth Keeper and hit the post aswell. Kiearn Ashley linked well with Eden Reynell to create Twyfords Chances but unforuantly they could not get the goal they deserved. Despite the score there were plenty of possotives to take ,against a very strong Sidmouth side, into future league games.
