Match Report - Twyford Bayern - B U11's 2011/12

Twyford Bayern got there first 3 points of the season (with the exception of the 3 awarded to us for a default win) with another excellent team performence. Again the work rate from each player was exceptional and they took a deserved lead when Aaron Long's superb Corner found Eden Reynell at the back post who fired into the roof of the net. Ottery hit back with some good passing football but were unable to break down a very well organised Twyford defence. On the few occasions that they did bet a shot on goal Jack Walton looked in good form yet again. Twyford threatened on the counter attack but there passing was a bit disjointed and not as fluent as in previous games. They did however double their lead after good interplay between Jim Harper and Eden Reynell resulted in Eden again beating his man and firing in past the keeper from the edge of the box. 2-0 it remained at half time. The second half was an end to end game and Ottery managed to grab a goal back half way through the half when Jack Waltons mis-kick found an Ottery player who took a touch and lobbed the ball back over Jack with a lucky bounce but a goal that Ottery deserved. Twyford's heads didn't drop and they hit back immideatly after Eden Reynell again causing problems for the Ottery defence and his cross was converted at the back post by debutant Billy Curtis. The whole team played well as a unit and deserve credit for a good win against a good Ottery side.
