Match Report - Get Connected Disability League 1 Adults - M U50's 2011/12

Today was a misty day on the north coast of Devon ,but the guys put the chilly conditions to one side and started off like a steam train with some of the best passing football in the league on the day.The first match saw us streak into a quickfire 4-0 lead with goals from freddie and Stuart (two each) the match ended 5-0.the momentum kept up through the next couple but then a couple of hard fought draws against stronger opposition in the name of ROC Active and Bideford Blues both 2-2 .  Our best game of quality football saw us dominate Torquay Utd and come out with a 2-0 win and a well deserved 1st league goal for Andrew Rawlings .Our final match was a bit of a battle with tavistock who had a couple of new players but to our credit we persevered but lost out by the odd goal in 3 with Whiskey our scorer,the game near boiled over after afew end of the day challeges but this was diffussed after a comedy moment with Shaun Wollacott trying to remove his jersey without taking off his goalie gloves.All in all agood day out and as we departed the sun finally shone
