Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U11's 2012/13

This was the first game of a new season playing 9 a side we started the game very well  passing the ball into space and winning the fifty fifty  balls creating several chances on goal one such chance came from a fantastic through ball from Yestyn only for Aiden to be brought down on the edge of the box for a free kick which he took himself and finished well for 1-0 the game continued the same way with us scoring another great goal through Henry 2-0 after 10mins , we then had a difficult 10mins were a string of hard tackles in the midfield left our players struggling a ball went into our box around Alex and trickled over the line for 2-1 we then conceded again for 2-2 but we did not let our heads drop and for the rest of the half created several chances but were unable score leaving the score at the half 2-2.

                                        The second half was all about 1 min of madness were the ball broke into our half and there winger cut in and shot and some how the ball went around Alex into the net for 3-2 to them, that was the last time Alex saw the ball in the game we attacked there half continuously creating chance after chance Jack, Angus,Harry,Henry and Aiden all had chances but this was not to be and with 5 mins to go there keeper made a fantastic save and that was the end. A very good performance from all the lads today did not allow heads to drop and gave the team everything they had and i am sure that our first 3 points of the season wont be long coming unlucky today all .
