Twyford U11's were away at Dawlish United in the Exeter Youth league and with a depleted squad due to illness lost 3-2 in a close match. Twyford took the lead mid way through the 1st half with Ben Morgan latching onto a through ball from Sam Jones to score in the corner. In the second half Dawlish equalised in the first minute only for Morgan to score his second 5 minutes later as the Dawlish keeper parried a Jones strike. After that Dawlish attacked down the slope and despite the defensive heroics of defenders Ed Heard and Luke Broomfield Dawlish equalised midway through the half. Twyford keeper Adam Jarrett was then injured bravely stopping another attack and with no subs Sam Jones went in goal and Jarrett played on out field. Jones was then beaten for the Dawlish winner. Also playing well were Max Zilch, Reagan Holwell and on their debuts Joe Collins and Harry Stevens.
