Twyford U11's entertained Dawlish in the second round of the Exeter Youth league cup and both teams contributed to an exciting game at rain swept Amory Park. Dawlish took the lead only for Twyford's Lewis Hill to head the equaliser with the teams drawing 1-1 at Half time. As the rain and wind got worse the football got better with Dawlish taking a 3-1 lead but in the last 5 minutes of the game Twyford laid siege to the Dawlish goal and goals from Reagan Holwell and Max Zilch forced extra-time. With no further scoring in extra-time the game went into penalties with replacement keeper Edward Heard saving the first Dawlish penalty and goals from Owen Rendall, Ben Morgan and Charlie Slater putting Twyford into a 3-2 lead. Twyford then missed their next 2 penalties and with Dawlish scoring theirs they went through 4-3 .
