Match Report - Twyford Spartans - G U12's 2012/13

Type: DGFL = Devon Girls Football League

This was the first game for the newly formed Twyford Under 12 girls team and was up against a team that had won their last game 22-0.  Twyford began well and Libby Baker scored the first of six goals for the team.  Daisy and Beth played well in defence with both of them working hard and supporting the midfield.  Lauren Hudd worked hard in her first game and was a constant thorn in the oppositions side, she was covering every inch of the pitch and put in some very crucial tackles.  Libby showed what a good player she is by running through the West Exe defence on a number of occasions to score her six goals of the game.  Georgia and Hannah also gave good performances with Hannah having opportunities to score but the ball would not find the back of the net for her today but it will come.  Girl of the game was Rhiannon who played in goal and pulled off outstanding saves.  A good performance all round - Well done girls.
