Match Report - Twyford Milan - B U12's 2009/10

Twyford came within 5 minutes of gaining their first point of the season after a spirited display only to end up losing two late goals and eventually the match.
The first half saw Twyford race into a 2-0 lead after changing the team around from their previous two heavy defeats. The defence now marshalled by man of the match Conor Mogford laid the foundations for a solid performance. The second goal was a great team effort after a through ball by Brad Burnett. Scott Hellier who was a constant nuisance to the home defence saw an opportunity but his shot was parried and James Tourle followed up to finish the move.
The second half saw Twyford under great pressure now against the slope and after what was a nasty looking injury to Kieran Tebby who was later given the all clear at A&E Twyford lost concentration in the dying stages. The whole team can take great heart from the signs of progression and the fact that their new formation shows their potential.
