Twyford Monaco got back to winning ways with a well deserved 5-2 away win against Crediton Youth. After an even opening to the game Monaco went ahead when Dan Verrier's corner evaded everybody and found the top corner of the net. Soon after Bradley Kelly made it two from another Verrier corner. Crediton pulled a goal back before good passing move involving Tom Roberts, Nick Merriam and Kelly resulted in Kelly's second just before half time.
Jack Zilch was as effective as ever at the heart of Monaco's defence and Toby Hogan was excellent at right back and managed to create problems for Crediton with his surging runs. Aaron Farebrother covered every blade of grass and Danny Crook fought well against physical opponents.
Crediton found their way back into the game with a well struck free kick which Tom Haines nearly got a hand to but Monaco stepped up their game as their opponents tired and were able to create many late chances. Kelly capped a fine performance with 2 more goals near the end.
