Twyford Lyon suffered their first defeat of the season going down 3 - 2 but can consider themselves very unlucky as they pushed a well fancied Holway side right to the wire. Holway won the toss and decided to play with the ferocious wind which played a big part in the game. Lyon played the better football but were pinned back and went in at half time 3 - 0 behind. The second half was completely different as Holway could barely get out of their half. Tom Roberts pulled a goal back with a shot off the crossbar and Toby Hogan turned in Dan Verrier's corner to give Lyon hope. Hogan then saw his long range effort bounce off the crossbar. Lyon fought gallantly to the end but could not find the luck that they deserved.
