It was one of those days for Lyon. After beating VPR 6-3 away from home a couple of weeks earlier it was a very different story in the home game. Lyon started brightly when Alex Wright scored twice in the space of five minutes and it looked as if it would be another 3 points in their attempt to win the league. However Bridgwater fought back and deservedly went to the break 4-2 ahead. Lyon burst out of the traps again in the second half but the chances they had to get back into the game went begging and the heads dropped. Bridgwater kept plugging away and scored further goals in the second half to make it a miserable day that Lyon will want to put behind them as they chase second spot and promotion.
