Twyford under 14's played some good passing football to find themselves 3-0 up against Wellington Falcons. Liam Vellacott netted the first from an Alex Bressington cross and Tom Nunez scored Twyford's 2nd and 3rd with assists from Bressington and Kieron Chard-Maple respectively. Wellington came out the stronger in the 2nd half and found their selves on the score sheet with a fine long range goal which eluded keeper Yiannis Nickolopolous. Twyford edged further ahead after Vellacott set up Connor Daveridge to find Twyford 4-1 up. Twyford seemed to think they had done enough and backed off, only to find Wellington fight their way back to 4-3. A frantic final 5 minutes saw both teams miss chances, but it was Twyford who held on to take all 3 points. Nathan Hill, Mikesh Mistry, Jack Isaacs and Liam Short defended well while Jason Allington and Matthew Mann worked hard in midfield.
