Twyford Under 14's faced Bridgwater VPR in the cup. In a close fought match, Twyford opened the scoring when Matthew Mann scored following a scramble in the goal mouth. Bridgwater responded with a scrappy goal after a great save. Twyford hit back with a Jack Isaacs finish after a superb cross. VPR fought back again with a wonderfully struck free kick. Shortly after Twyford gave away a penalty; but a fantastic save from keeper Yiannis Nicolopolous denied Bridgwater the lead. The match then went to extra-time and Twyford came out fighting. An early strike from Jason Allington gave Twyford a 3-2 lead. A brilliant strike from Nathan Hill gave Twyford a two goal advantage. Twyford conceded just after but they held on for a tough win. Also playing well were Mikesh Mistry, Tom Nunez, Reece Burnett, Alex Bressington, Liam Vellacott, Connor Daveridge, Liam Short and Kieron Chard-Maple.
