Match Report - Twyford Spartans - B U14's 2009/10

Twyford Under 14's travelled to league leaders Wembdon.  Twyford went a goal down early on Jason Allington hit the crossbar and was unlucky not to equalise. Twyford held their own until half time and put pressure on Wembdon early in the 2nd half.  Sam Tarrant found himself through on goal, only for the linesman to flag offside when he was clearly on.  Twyford were unable to find the break they needed and were caught on the counter attack for Wembdon to score their 2nd.  With the final whistle beckoning, Twyford's luck was dashed again when their keeper Yianis Nickolopolus made a good save, but it was kicked out of his hands, and the referee awarded Wembon their 3rd.  A score which did not reflect Twyfords hard effort.  Nathan Hill, and Reece Burnett were outstanding with Liam Vellacott passing some good balls through from midfield.  Also playing well were Mikesh Mistry and Conner Daveridge.
