Twyford U16's A entertained Wellington and won 1 - 0. Twyford had the better of the first half and Kane Thomas scored what was to be the only goal with a header from a corner. The second half was more even with both sides missing chances. Liam Hill was excellent in goal while Ed Frankland and Connor Stone excelled in midfield. Defenders Ryan Nunez, Jan Pollington and Jake Leach all played well. Signs of an understanding emerging between Mark Sampson and Lloyd Frost looks good for the future.
