The U16's A entertained Chaddlewood Miners from Plymouth in the 1st round of the Devon Cup. The match started at a cracking pace and very entertaining with flowing football with plenty of goalmouth particularly from the visitors. It was 0-0 at full time mainly due to the visitors goalie and a stone wall penalty for Twyford a minute from time. Extra time was the same with stone walled penalties not given either of the visitors late winner. Liam Hill was for long spells a spectator being dealt with what he had to do well. The defence of Dean Folland, Ryan Nunez, Jake Leach and the outstanding Jan Pollington restricted the opposition to few chances. Aiden Moyle was a constant thorn from the left of midfield and was ably assisted by Belah Miah, Kane Thomas and Lloyd Frost. Numerous chances were created and Mark Sampson and Lewis Scarff were so unlucky not to convert some.
