The u16's a travelled to Taunton to face league leaders Holway with 10 men and when Mark Sampson pulled up shortly after the start with a tight hamstring it looked a forlorn task. Holway duly took an early lead but Twyford battled and had chances to score but half time arrived with the score at 1-0. The 9 sensed they were in with a shout and that belief grew when Aiden Moyle finished off a fine move. For a while it was end to end then with 10 minutes remaining Twyford tired but with a little luck they held their own before a late goal won it for Holway. Liam Hill was good in goal while Jake Leach, Belah Miah, Jan Pollington and Kit Adams had really good games in defence. Dean Folland and Aiden Moyle showed great work rate in midfield.
