Twyford Under 11 girls played their first games together as a team at Exeter in a Devon Girls League Under 11s Festival. The Twyford girls began well with Boo Berry and Chloe Hawkins dominating the game against Ashmoor. Boo and Chloe scored 2 goals each with another excellent goal from Jordan Bindon giving the girls a 5-1 win. The girls continued to play well together in the second game with a 5-2 win over Plainmoor again the goals coming from Boo (3) and Chloe (2). Charlie Long made her debut in this game and worked well for the team. The toughest game was against a very large and well organised LFC Sparta with both teams scoring an own goal and then Sparta scored a second with minutes to go. In the final game Twyford dominated again with Nicole Moore dominating the defence. Playing in goal was Emma who helped Twyford out at the last minute and was excellent. The score in this game was 7-0 to Twyford with 5 goals for Boo and 2 for Chloe. Also playing for Twyford were Victoria and Jazmine who helped out on the day and played well and combined well with the Twyford girls to make a good team performance.
