Twyford Under 13 girls came away from Amory Park on Thursday with their first win of the season defeating Phoenix 4-2. During the past few weeks the girls have improved and are playing good football as a team and this game was a display of this. Laura Kent scored first aand Phoenix played well to equalise. The Twyford girls continued to play good passing football and a through ball to Beth Leaney produced the second goal of the game. This goal seemed to give the Twyford girls more confidence and they continued to attack and this produced the third goal of the game from Millie McLear. The fourth goal of the game came from a well taken shot from Alice Butler from the edge of the area. Phoenix then scored a second goal just before the final whistle. Putting in good team performances were Chloe Moore, Laura Huxtable Amy Sanders and Robyn Freed.
