Our next fixture was played into the sun which our players found even more challenging. Torridgeside B created some excellent passages of play neatly passing through our midfield and exposing our defence often having two or three players in the box against our keeper. The game was played in good spirit from both teams and we began to show some promise from inspired play from Morgan Edgcumbe. Jess Payne worked hard in the Twyford defence clearing the ball out and allowing her teammates to regroup.



Another handful of chances for Karli Tebby were created by Morgan Edgcumbe but we were unable to capitalise on any of them. Harriet Chafer produced a number of very strong tackles to hold off our opponents, but this was another defeat to a well organised and structured opponent ending 11-0 at full time.
