Culm Tigers dominated most of the play in the opening game. The Twyford defence of Sam Phillips and Charlie Long were unable to contain the pace and width of their opponents and conceded a number of goals early on. Isaac Pedrick, Liam Napier and Holly Rendall worked hard in midfield trying to contain a more experienced Culm side. Despite the wind and rain, there was an excellent conciliation goal from Jay Stansfield.
But the star performance came from Max Rendall who bravely fought off numerous attempts on his goal, making decisive claims on the ball and demonstrating some first class diving.
