Today’s proceeding started with an end-to-end thriller against Tiverton Town. Both sides passed the ball well and created numerous chances. Tiverton Town opened the scoring early with a shot blasted into the top corner. Twyford fought back with a fantastic equaliser from Max Rendall.
Ben Broomfield, Charley Long and Kian Snow worked hard to contain the advances of a confident Tiverton Town who kept pressuring the Twyford defence. In the second half Henry Elsworthy created a chance for Twyford with further goals for Jay Stansfield and Max Rendall.
Holly Rendall and Harvey North combined with Sam Phillips in Midfield to push back at Tiverton Town and deserved draw and an excellent performance from Isaac Pedrick in the Twyford goal kept the game alive.
