The young Twyford side got off to a very shaky start conceding a goal in the opening minute, but soon settled back into the game. Beacon Knights passed the ball around well and took the play to Twyford Tots. As the match progressed, Max Rendall, Louis Bolduc and Jay Stansfield began creating openings in their opponents defence and were rewarded with an excellent goal for Jay Stansfield.
An experienced Beacon Knights continued strong in the second half as Toby Place, Isaac Pedrick and Keane Moore battled hard as the Twyford back three making decisive clearances under a barrage of corners.
Another sterling performance from Aaron Long between the sticks helped Twyford Tots make this a closer contest than the final score suggested.
