Our last two league fixtures of the season saw our young Tots side proudly modelling their new yellow and black kit. Alpha Lions began the game very strongly, keeping possession and passing through our midfield. Aaron Long and Toby Place defended well and prevented a number of breaks down the wing, but were eventually beaten and we unfortunately conceded a goal. Not put off our boys kept going, Isaac Pedrick and Louis Bolduc consistently challenged for the ball and managing to push forward on occasion creating a couple of chances for lone striker Jay Stansfield supported by winger Keane Moore.
Alpha Lions gained in confidence following some more goals, but Jay Stansfield managed to pull a goal back after a fantastic solo effort passing a couple of opponents before shooting into the bottom corner of the goal. Another performance from Konnor Tebby between the uprights gave the crowd some great shot-stoppers and energetic leaping to feast upon.
