Twyford U10's were away to Phoenix FC in the East Devon Youth League and despite the windy conditions it proved to be an entertaining Game. Phoenix had the better of the early exchanges, however Twyford's defenders Luke Broomfield, Charlie Slater and Keeper Adam Jarrett kept them at bay. As the game went on Twyford's wingers Lewis Hill and Max Zilch started to cause problems for the home defence. An injury to midfield general Sam Jones meant Twyford had to change things around with Owen Rendall moving into Midfield. In the second half Twyford started to control the game with forwards Ben Morgan and Dennis Wills getting more chances and finally midway through the half Wills scored to give Twyford the points with a 1-0 victory.
