Hit them hard, hit them early, pass and move. Danny Crook passed to Brandon Vellacott who whipped a cross into Bradley Kelly. 1-0 after 47 seconds. A couple of minutes later same sort of move, this time the ball bounced out to Alex Goldsbrough 15 yards out who slammed home a low drive. 2-0. Stoke Hill woke up as Spartans gave up passing and they got back to 2-1. By half time Sam Heard and Bradley Kelly had added another each, 4-1. The Spartans lads defended in numbers and attacked with pace, passes from Bo Baker and Frank Rosenwald kept feeding the attack. Second half goals came from Alex Ansell who smashed one in, really smashed it in, and Danny Crook and another couple from Bradley Kelly. Notably David Rawlings defended intelligently and bravely and Ryan Harder threw himself courageously about in goal. . 8-3.
