Match Report - Twyford Milan - B U11's 2008/9

Type: MDSL = Mid Devon Soccer league

Twyford brought a large squad for this final home match in order to look at some new players looking forward to next season with Conor Mogford keeping goal 1st half and Thomas Lockyer between the sticks in the second period both excelled and kept goal well. Twyford started brightly with Jake Isaac creating scoring opportunities and the defence of Cameron Khouassi Khan, Cameron Tapp and Brad Burnett holding firm. However Bradninch stepped up a gear as Twyford lacked concentration and ended up scoring 3 times just before half time. The second half started with a couple of changes Alex Morrey Jones, Travis Snowdon, Harry Toogood getting into the action. Caius Hill was one of the players to step aside after a solid energetic first half display.

Bradninch again scored a couple of quick goals before Twyford replied with a speculative shot fromWill Klinkenberg that looped over the opposing keeper and into the net. A couple of silly mistakes then led to Bradninch getting another couple of soft goals but Twyford replied again with a few goals of their own a good goal from debutant Matt Davey and the strike of the game from Simon Holwell. Ryan Roberts and David Rawlings came on for a run out and tried hard to impose themselves on the game which ended 3-8
