Twyford Monaco u12 dropped their first points of the season with a 3-3 away draw at Broadclyst. Good football was always going to be difficult on a bumpy pitch in the freezing wind but Monaco took the lead late in the first half when Nick Merriam finished well after being put through by Aaron Farebrother. Merriam's determination allowed him to double the lead early in the second half and Harry Denson got his reward for his hard work when he made it three. Even though Monaco continued to create chance after chance a spirited Broadclyst side forced three late goals to share the spoils. Jack Zilch put in a man of the match performance at the centre of defence.
